The team is led by Keran who has over 20 years experience of  working with children.  Keran had a degree in early years and holds up to date Senco, child protection and first aid training. Keran is the driving force of the pre-school and has devoted much of her time to ensure that all children are welcome, nurtured and fully prepared for the transition to school.
Her deputy, Caroline, originally worked alongside Keran and has returned to the pre-school to continue her career.
The other staff - Sarah C, Sarah E, Sarajane,  Julie C and Julie W all hold a level 2 or 3 qualification in child care and have many years of experience of working with children between them.  All the staff have up-to-date training, and work as a team to offer the best possible environment for your children to learn through play.
We use a Key Person system so that each child is able to bond with a member of staff.  We take this role very seriously ensuring that the transition from home to pre-school runs as smoothly as possible.  The key person is also able to adapt the planned activities to suit the indiviual needs and interests of each of their key children, ensuring that each child is able to develop their individuality and become an independent critical thinker.
All staff are involved with forest school activities which are offered to all children, whatever the weather! We ensure that appropriate clothing is supplied by the pre-school to allow all children to truly embrace the amazing learning that can be achieved through our unique forest school space.
